RWTH German Language Courses Winter Semester 2019/2020

Course registration takes place from 01.10. - 08.10.2019 online via your User Account. To create your account and/or take a placement test, you must have a valid RWTH User ID (TIM). We recommend enrolling and paying the semester fee at least four weeks before your German course registration, so you will receive the TIM in due time. It is not possible to register without a TIM.

Please note that all RWTH German courses are fee-based. You can find information on the registration process and payment in Your German Courses Guide.

Placement Test

If you have previous knowledge of German, please register for a placement test. You may only register for one of the listed dates. Please wait until the result of the placement test is visible in your User Account before registering for a language course. The user account must be created before attending the test. It is mandatory to have a valid RWTH User ID (TIM) in order to take the test.
